A Saturday Off

Here you can see Shane inside the garage--he's checking out the new temporary front door.  They will remove the original one and install this one early next week because the old one has the hinges on the wrong side.

There are just a few changes to the outside of the house...

Here you can see the light mounts for the garage sconces.

...and here's a close-up of the garage light mount and the wiring for an electrical outlet at the front of the house.

Inside, these silly colored wires are still popping up everywhere.

Shane decided it was my job to measure the diameter of the speakers today.

Couldn't he have told me to measure these last week?

Before they were mounted in the ceiling?!?

(Don't tell anyone, but I might have been hoping for an injury before my race next weekend...but no such luck!)

On this game room window, you can see the expanding foam that seals it tighty in place.

Also in the game room, we have gained a few extra feet.  They had framed the wall to the right of this doorway to be even with the doorway (if that makes any sense?), they thought it might be needed for ventilation, but as it turns out it wasn't needed, so the framers removed the studs and we gained some extra feet where the pub table will sit.

Lastly, here's a view of the staircase and entryway after yesterday's modifications.

No one was working today.  I'm sure everyone will be back at work on Monday and hopefully the electrical will pass inspection so they can begin installing the insulation.
