Progress in the Cold

April is off baby-sitting so I get the duties of updating the blog for everyone.   We have two main things going on as I am sure you could tell from the last 2 days.  The stucco base coat and the HVAC.  The builder pulled the electricians and plumbers out last week so the HVAC guys would have first dibs on spaces to run venting.  Problem was the HVAC contractor couldnt start til this last Monday.  Now it was expected that the HVAC would be done today, but alas I think it will be Friday before they are done.  Once the HVAC is done electric, plumbing and finally audio/visual will come in and get their stuff done then on to drywall. 

I believe that now that the stucco base is done they will come back around and do another coat, but I am not sure.  I expect the driveway to be worked on once the stucco guys are done with their initial stuff and get their scaffolding down. 

Now on to the pictures.  The first is the west side of the house which was stucco'd today.  The picture is from the SW back corner of the lot.  The door is to where the hot water heater will be located.

South side of the house, on the left the master bedroom and then the patio.

This is a picture of the SE corner of the house.  You can see on the right the East side of the house which was done 2 days ago and dried versus the south side of the house which was done today.  Also the second floor of the East side was completed.

And finally the chimney all covered in stucco.

This is the HVAC located above the living room and located next to the venting for the chimney.  It looks to be all hooked up and ready to go.

This is one of April's mystery circles from yesterday being used as a return for the HVAC system in a second floor hallway.

For the first furnace they have run the piping for the outside unit and you can see it here on the west exterior wall.  Its the small pipe in the middle in all the scaffolding.

This is a new furnace put in today up on the third floor (we dont have a third floor per se, but it is located above the second floor hallway).

And finally the 25th window has arrived on site.
