The front of the house...you can't tell, but they are almost through with the stucco mesh.
Here's a close up of the stuff we've been calling the "chicken-wire-mesh-stuff" that is the backing for the stucco; it's a much smaller mesh than chicken wire.
The electrician came today and put in a most of the boxes for the light switches and electrical outlets...
...and he put in the boxes for the can lights in the kitchen...
...and the can lights in Shane's shower. Yes, his shower is big enough for two lights...the kitchen only has four can lights.
There must have been some confusion about whether or not we wanted electrical on this wall of the staircase.
Upstairs, they actually ran some of the electrical wires.
Shane is standing where one of the upstairs sinks will be placed...
The plumber came today and drilled some holes for the pipes in the upstairs floor (he might have done more than this...but a few holes in the floor is what we noticed). This is where Shane was just standing, where one of the upstairs sinks will go.
Looking out an upstairs window, they have put a board back on the roof so they can hang the stucco mesh.
...and looking out the window the other way, you can see the scaffolding they are using for the stucco-mesh-hanging.
This is the audio-visual storage room upstairs. The framers have put some flooring in and it looks absolutely huge to me now.
Shane looks thrilled at it's size.
Here's the view off of the front balcony; it's a nice view with the port-a-potty & all the junk in the yard, huh?
...and the backyard is pretty snazzy, too, isn't it?
Here's a view of the hallway, looking into the living room & kitchen.
I'm loving the arches.
The front of the house still surrounded by scaffolding and spare wood pieces in the yard.
