Trim

I know you want to see pictures, so I apologize, but I don't have any for you today.

It may not seem like much is happening, it's just all happening behind the scenes. 

Last night we went to the annual homeowner's association meeting for the new neighborhood and boy that was an experience!  We heard many opinions on how things in the neighborhood should be handled, learned how the association fees are allocated and voted in a new board for next year.  We didn't just blindly vote-we knew some of the people running and all of the people up for election were able to speak for a minute. It was all very democratic.

Today after school, Shane & I met with the builder & the trim carpenter.  The trim carpenter is the guy who builds the wine room cabinets, installs window headers, crown moldings, ceiling beams, & builds the closets and pantry shelves.  We made many of those final decisions today & will meet with him again on Friday to finish up.

They will begin tile installation tomorrow morning, so I promise I'll post pics tomorrow night! 

Right after we get home from picking out light fixtures. ;-)
