Locking Up

We went back to lock up the house tonight and some people were working in the front yard.

Some dirt had been delivered.

And some guys were moving the dirt around.  We aren't sure if it they were with the sprinkler crew or the landscape crew, but apparently they were trading clay dirt for better dirt.

Inside the house, we decided to pull the tape and plastic out of the inside of the fridge & freezer.  Well, Shane decided we should do this.  I was kind of fond of keeping the new stickers in place as long as possible-but Shane was like a kid at Christmas.

We noticed that the the showerhead & knob were both installed in the mother-in-law bathtub.

...and the toilet has been installed.

We've already purchased a shower curtain for the MIL bath, so it appears this might be the first room in the house that is completely finished!

The granite has been installed in the bar.

I'm liking how this bar area and the entire room has turned out.

I must confess that we walked the entire house and turned on and off all the lights.  I mean, we had to make sure the rooms were appropriately lit, right? It had gotten dark, so before we left we turned on the cabinet lighting in the kitchen to see how it looks.

Since the downstair air conditioner is working, I tried to convince Shane that we should just sleep on the carpet in the office tonight, but he wasn't having any part of that.

I guess Minnie & Bo would have missed us, so it's for the best.
