3 Weeks & 6 Days

Less than one month until we get to move to the new house.  That will be considerably nicer than driving over every night to lock the house up after the contractors leave.  Well, it will also be nicer than living in our rent house. ;-)

This morning, Shane went over and finished up the rest of the wiring he's been working on.  Since he'd rather not have my help with the wiring, I thought I should probably check out the pool.  While at the pool, I visited with two of the families in the neighborhood, & both families have children who attend my school.  One of the children was in my camp last week and enjoyed having me watch all of his pool tricks.

Aside from Shane, the only worker at the house today was the guy working on the balcony.

Here it is partially completed...

...and here it is at the end of the day...

I've got several pictures of the same thing for you because nothing else changed today...

With Shane leaning on the rail you can see how tall it is.

Here's a view of the whole house.  They still have to put cast stone trim pieces around the arches, so the balusters on the balcony won't be the only cast stone trim on the house.

Every day our bets change as to how much will be completed before the Parade...

  1. Seriously? That's all that got done today? I'm starting to stress out for them that they're not going to be finished!
