Judging

My apologies for the late posting, but I spent the evening at the Miss Oklahoma Outstanding Teen Pageant with some girlfriends.

Anyway...

Shane and I arrived at the house at about 7:45 this morning.  Needless to say, it was crawling with workers inside and out.  Soon after, the stone guys finally finished up and started removing their supplies from the front yard.

I had to head on over to summer camp, but Shane spent the day at the house with the A/V crew, installing televisions and wiring the house for cameras and music.

Yes, that TV is in our bathroom.  It's just really nice to start your day with Matt Lauer and the Today Show.

Here's one in the kitchen, for the Food Network or music videos...

Apparently, I don't have a picture of the living room TV.

This one is in the game room...it will be the perfect height for watching football when you are curled up on the couch, or in the recliner, whatever the case may be.  After we move in, Shane will be installing 4 more smaller TV's in this room.  Yes, five TV's in one room-when we are not in Norman, this will be game-day-central.

This pic showes the Control4 touchscreen panel.  This is what that bunch of that crazy wiring was all about.  It can control music, tell you whether the garage doors are up or down, and in this pic, you have a camera view of the front porch.  So if it's an annoying vaccum salesman and you aren't interested, you can just sneak away and take a bath.  Some of the components we have now, some will be installed at a later date.

The office has been staged...

...and the backyard landscaping looks great.

Here is where the outdoor kitchen will be-they are supposed to start that on Monday. You can see the vegetable garden in the back of this pic.  Soon it will be bursting with veggies.

The sink and faucet has been installed in the temporary island.

...and here's what the wine room finally looks like.

The wine room floor is made from reclaimed wine barrels, you can really see the markings now that there is some poly on it.

The chimney topper was finally installed.

Also, the house has been judged. I think they got all of the cleaners and crew out right at the last minute.

Starting tomorrow, a bunch of strangers will filter through the house.  Shane already gave 3 tours this afternoon.  Then, in about 3ish weeks, we'll be sleeping over there.

Finally.
